With the help of advanced spring technologies, the price of extension springs are getting lower and lower. We understand the cost is usually the most important factor when you are sourcing. However, there are several factors which decide if the extension springs are made good or not:

Is there any radius on the hooks?

When extension springs get broken, the position of broken will be usually at the neck of the hooks. A radius there can help extend the lifetime of extension springs.

Is there any tool mark on the hooks?

The tool mark will decrease the lifetime of the springs.

Are the hooks round enough?

If the hooks are designed to be round, it should be round enough to ensure the lifetime of the spring.

Does the spring load meet the request?

If the requested spring load is doable, the springs which are not made to the requested spring load will decrease the lifetime of springs. A spring load tester can inspect the spring load.
