The most common two types of extension spring hooks

In Taiwan, our master of spring machine split extenstion springs roughly into two types by the shape of the hooks:

1. English hook
   The wire goes across the middle of the spring OD and then go up to be the hook

2. German hook
   The wire goes through the side of spring OD and then go up to be the hook

So when inquiry of extension springs, please make sure your drawing or photo has clear description of the two types of the hooks - English hook or German hook, so we can provide the correct quotation.
